IP CCTV and Access Control

Thema has been involved with IP Security using IP Cameras for over 15 years, when we recognised that conventional CCTV images tended to be blurry and as such of little use to anyone for such use as identification purposes. IP cameras are of very high quality and provde highest quality images over less bandwith and also offer many advantages over older analogue CCTV cameras such as alerts and trip wires. We only work with IP Cameras and NVR (Network Video Recorders) as well as working with dedicated Video Servers from the market leaders Axis on larger systems. As we have been in the network business for over 26 years we know how to integrate IP Security with networks and Access Control.

Recent work includes installing a number of extremley low light capable high resolution Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras as well as other dome cameras on an industrial site to provide coverage of the buildings and whole site. We also install systems in offices including the data cabling etc.. We have also installed a fully wireless (4G) battery operated camera / alarm system to protect a construction site that had no power or internet. All IP systems we install are viewable on remote PCs or at monitoring stations, as well as on iOS and Android Apps.

We recently installed an Access Control system that controlled three gates giving staff access access as well as incorporating intercoms for each gate to allow visitior access on the same system. This was integrated into the building Access Control system as well. Other Access Control solutions we have installed include a video entry system integrated with security management and remote screens as the office is upstairs and the customer wanted to enable staff to see who were wishing to enter.
